Down below our house is a beautiful field where we play with the doggies each day,and often get visits from flocks of birds too.
One day when I stepped outside, a lively flock of crows was parading across the field.
I quite enjoy crows and thought it would be fun to invite them onto a canvas or two,
so I ran back to get a camera and crept around snapping pictures while they talked about many things.
I made a smallish painting first, and liked it so much that this one soon followed.

About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience.
