Oh boy, life gifts us such challenges, and these days those mountains are piling up high and mighty for just about all of us. Some days it just wrings me wide open and somehow, as I let that sky of everyone wash through me, there's such a strong urge inside to to just be really really still.
My paintingself feels it too and keeps stealing paint away as soon as I put it down!!
I look on amused as the scene quiets and silky dreams emerge.

About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience. When my dear friend and partner Fred encouraged me to take up art, I was touched by an excitement that was like a thousand smiles singing inside me! I've always been an adventurous one,,, artistic, musical, and a great lover of spontaneous play.
