Sometimes I laugh imagining what it would be like if everyone came equipt with their own personal soundtrack that followed them everywhere though life. My music for today,,,hummm, maybe I'm just as happy no one else had to hear all those crashing major 2nd's I had all around me this morning:))) Painting, is such a marvelous visual soundtrack,,, so very expressive of all the stuff there are no words for.
This piece of playful art reminds me of our secret soundtracks. I had fun with the palate knife. It likes to dance around through all that buttery paint, turning my day into puddles of joy.
About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience. When my dear friend and partner Fred encouraged me to take up art, I was touched by an excitement that was like a thousand smiles singing inside me! I've always been an adventurous one,,, artistic, musical, and a great lover of spontaneous play.
