Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Sometime this spring a flock of turkeys began to come by each day, trailed by a swirl of peeping babies, and these regal, graceful birds have been delighting me ever since. One morning as I was walking up the path to the house just as the sun was stretching her golden arms over the trees, I was greeted by our fluffy flock of young ones, lit up and glowing like bird-angels!
Well of course, my palette knives and paintbrushes came out dancing and today, in honor of it being Thanksgiving, I share this painting with you, and offer my heart and gratitude to these beautiful birds who parade across our meadows and up and down our little farm road most every day!
About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience. When my dear friend and partner Fred encouraged me to take up art, I was touched by an excitement that was like a thousand smiles singing inside me! I've always been an adventurous one,,, artistic, musical, and a great lover of spontaneous play. For much of my life, I've made my living as a luthier, specializing in unusual, made-up violin family instruments, as well as a whole host of flutes, harps, marimbas, tile-a-phones, etc. etc. But until last year, I'd never spent much time with a paintbrush, or let myself be...
