I like this painting!

Artist's Description

On the first Friday of every month, our town hosts an art party. Stores, libraries, banks and museums, are festooned with local art, and the whole town is out celebrating.

Our family loves this party, and we often slide down off our hill with our two doggies, and wander around, soaking up art and the joyful night life of Santa Cruz. This painting (done on wood panel, with acrylic and pastels, and covered with cold wax), reminds me of stepping out at night, into the glitz and shine of a town lit up and ready to play.

ready to bedeck your wall with great cheer!
