Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This joyful little scene was inspired both by my dear painter-friend Pia Rom,
who throws some really fine art-parties over on Facebook,
and our friends Nan and Ron, who festooned us all with the silliest party hats back there on Fred's birthday!
The theme of Pia's party was to use the artist Gabriele Münter's paintings as inspiration for a new piece of art.
I found myself quite drawn to a few of her window paintings,
and of course in this suzypainting,
a couple of doggies
and singing party hats showed up too!
About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience. When my dear friend and partner Fred encouraged me to take up art, I was touched by an excitement that was like a thousand smiles singing inside me! I've always been an adventurous one,,, artistic, musical, and a great lover of spontaneous play. For much of my life, I've made my living as a luthier, specializing in unusual, made-up violin family instruments, as well as a whole host of flutes, harps, marimbas, tile-a-phones, etc. etc. But until last year, I'd never spent much time with a paintbrush, or let myself be...
