Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Here is a digital poem-painting of our dog Gully carrying some of the mail down the hill. Gully is a beautiful pup, half blue heeler (Australian cattle dog), and half McNab border collie (a rare California working dog breed). Our vet calls him a fancy dog, because of his special white rump stripe and beautiful tri-colored ears. He's very smart, and more than a little stubborn too! He's not really too keen on being hooked up to a leash, and often will just sit or lay down right in the road (we live on a pretty small farm road, so lucky for us, there's not much traffic!) and refuse to budge. What a funny guy he is, but, of course!!!, we are crazy in love with him.
I love shooting pictures using a slow shutter, in order to get that soft, slightly blurry, in-motion feeling to the image. Here he's dancing along with his ears flying in the breezes, about as happy as a little pup can be!
About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience. When my dear friend and partner Fred encouraged me to take up art, I was touched by an excitement that was like a thousand smiles singing inside me! I've always been an adventurous one,,, artistic, musical, and a great lover of spontaneous play. For much of my life, I've made my living as a luthier, specializing in unusual, made-up violin family instruments, as well as a whole host of flutes, harps, marimbas, tile-a-phones, etc. etc. But until last year, I'd never spent much time with a paintbrush, or let myself be...
