I have a soft spot for street musicians. It used to be our tradition back in Vermont, to take banjos and fiddles down to the Grand Union parking lot and play for all the shoppers as they waltzed into and out of the store. We'd always make enough to take ourselves to the movies, and sometimes even some extra for buttered popcorn!

About a year ago now, something wonderful happened. I'd been going through an increasingly challenging time with my health, which has been a major teacher in my life, and was being brought to my knees by the experience.
